Wearing daddy's basketball shoes

18 MONTHS OLD!!!!!!!! Our baby is a little boy...and let me tell you he acts like one too.
He is very independent and knows exactly what he wants. He amazes me everyday with his little expressions, ability to understand when I talk to him, and love towards his family and friends (and his plastic animals). He has become more picky, and doesn't eat as much as he used to. BUT he loves sweets (just like his momma) and grilled cheese sandwiches. He brings me over to the fridge and says juice, let me tell you know much this boys loves apple juice. Don't try and fool him either, he knows when you try and sneak in something else. Milkshakes are a godsend...when times get tough, give this little boy a milkshake and all is right in the world!
Patience is something we need to work on with him. He gets very frustrated and inpatient when he can't do exactly what he is trying to at the particular moment. Me and Landon both need to work on patience.
He is so lovable. He comes over to you and wants to hug on you, and will even lay down with you for a split second, and then he's off running (because he literally RUNS everywhere). I love it so much when he lays on me and pats my shoulder. It's probably my most favorite thing, ever.
He gives kisses, and will give anything a kiss. After bath time, we brush his teeth, put pj's on and then its puzzle time on the ipad. He won't let you forget either! He runs over to our bed and pats it...waiting for you to put him up there. We lay there and do puzzles, look at animals and whatever else he wants. Then when we tell him it's time to go "night night", he rolls over and pretends he is asleep! HA! Such a toot! Bedtime is still so easy, but now he doesn't even want to be rocked. He points at his bed and is ready to go. Although he plays in his bed for quite sometime, he never cries.
Landon loves to get all of daddy's 5 million tennis shoes out and wear them. He has almost even mastered the technique of walking in them! When he knows we are going somewhere and tell him "we have to put your shoes on", he finds the closest ones (whatever they may be) and brings them over.
He's a happy boy, loves to share, very expressive, funny, loving and ALL BOY. He loves tractors, 4 wheelers, motorcycles, and any pile of dirt.
He hates to have his hands dirty, and can't seem to get past it until they are wiped off.
He is so smart, I just can't believe it sometimes. I mean, I know he is 18 months old now and understands me, but sometimes it's crazy HOW much he understands me. I love the fact that I can ask him to hand me something and most of the time he brings it right over. We have always talked to Landon so much, and explained everything to him. He asks "THIS??" a lot, so maybe that's why. He likes to know what things are.
Landon is shy, and sometimes it takes a while to warm up to people he doesn't know, or hasn't seen in awhile. Although he is so friendly and waves to people all the time no matter where we are.
He LOVES to be outside, and loves water.
Landon, "how does a..." game is my favorite!!! Right now his coyote, donkey, cow and dog are the animals of the moment. Old McDonald had a farm is his favorite song, and he can sing the E-I-E-I-O part.
He never has anything he HAD to sleep with until recently. I think he picked out the most expensive stuffed dog at Babies R Us one day that to my surprise daddy bought him, and that is who he sleeps with now. Bubba is his name, and Landon says it perfect! I walked into his room the other morning, he held him up high and said "BUBBA!!!!!"
Thank you GOD for our healthy, loving and busy little boy :) XOXO
