We had Landon's 18 month check up yesterday (April 13th) and well... he hated it. Poor guy is so afraid of the small things when it comes to doctors and nurses. I really think he is traumatized from his surgery. He for some reason hated being measured for his height, HATED when Dr. Terry looked in his ears and nose. The list goes on and on. He got a sucker, which held him over for awhile. I feel so bad, I wish he wasn't so afraid of her. He got 2 shots (one in each leg) and another sucker to distract him! He forgot about it quickly and was ready to go...I promised him a milkshake! Other than that, he looks perfect and is right on track for where he should be. 10 words, walking perfect, and saying a phrase.
Last night when Dustin got home he asked Landon about his shots and his bandaids (oh GREAT job, Dustin) so for the rest of the night Landon would lift his shorts to show us his bandaid and stare at it. He literally did this until he went to bed. Not to mention, he will NOT let me touch them, so he might have these on until he is 2 years old.
At 18 months:
27.6 pounds... 73 percentile
33.25'' tall...78 percentile
20.25 head circumference... 99 percentile (that's why he is so smart) ;)
