The Gaylord Texas had an Alice in Wonderland exhibit with characters and all kinds of fun things to do with the family. Dustin, Landon and I went to see what all the fun was about, and Lolli and Poppy met us there. There was so many neat things to see: The Hatter’s Mad Tea Party carved from sand, The Cheshire Cat in flowers, The Gryphon in balloons, the Hookah-Smoking Caterpillar, and a 256 sq. ft. chess set in teak wood. A HUGE flower stilt-walker greeted us as we walked in, as well as other characters walking around. Landon got his picture taken with Alice & The Cheshire Cat, The White Rabbit, and the Queen of Hearts. We had so much fun looking at everything they had set up in the atrium and Landon was actually not afraid of all the characters (except a man dressed up as a snake or something). There was even a balloon artist that made Landon a fishing pole with a fish! After we left we went to eat at Fuddruckers, then headed next door to Bass Pro Shops where the fun continued. We laughed so hard at Landon. He would get so excited to see all the "stuffed" animals in there. He would point, and "AH" and want to touch them. He was so fascinated. He also loved looking at the the huge fish in the aquarium, and would just watch them swim by. Forget the zoo, just go to Bass Pro! I am so glad he such an animal lover! We had such a fun day together, and boy were we all tired!
