Landon's 2 month dr. appt went great, he is a growing boy! I of course was nervous about this appointment because he was going to get a couple of shots so Pam met me at the doctor. Landon was asleep in his car seat until they called us back. The nurses has us take his clothes off including his diaper to weigh him, as soon as I took his diaper off he peed everywhere! I thought he was done so I took the paper towel I grabbed off... nope not done! The nurses are so sweet, they just clean it up like it's no big deal! Landon weighed 12.6 pounds (75 percentile) and was 23.8'' long (90 percentile). Dr. Guetershloh thinks he is going to be tall!!! Dustin is very excited about this! He did great with his shots, only crying for a minute. I was prepared... baby tylenol and thermometer on hand. I think I was prepared for the worse. Our poor baby didn't feel very good, and slept a lot that day but luckily never ran a fever! Once again, he got an A+ on his report card.
Landon had to start seeing a physical therapist because he prefers to lay on his right side, due to a tight neck which is called Torticollis. Jennifer comes once a week to our house and is AMAZING! Not only does Landon love her, she is so great at what she does and has really helped him! Just keep him in your prayers that this therapy works for him. He gets so tired during his therapy, usually falling asleep at the end (that's why I don't work out, just too tiring)! HA!
It's amazing that 2 months have gone by so quickly. I remember at first telling Landon (and myself) at bedtime "we did it, we conquered the day." Everyday gets easier and easier, and it REALLY helps that he is such a good baby! I think Dustin and I will have our hands full with the next...that's our kind of luck! I am so proud of the parents Dustin and I have become, we try so hard with Landon and do our best everyday! We love the faces he makes, all the new sounds that come out of his little mouth and his arms that he constantly has in the air (I tell him he is a bull rider). WOW...what what a journey this 2 months have been.
