Landon likes to watch baseball on t.v. and basically loves anything to do with baseball, so we knew he would love watching the Rangers! Dustin, Landon and I headed to Arlington early so we could walk around and show Landon all the fun things to do at the ballpark. He was in total awe, trying to take it all in. We signed him up for the Jr. Rangers, and he got a very cool backpack, hat and VIP pass for running the bases. Before the game started I took Landon down to the bullpen to watch the guys practicing, and a very nice man stopped Dave Bush and got him to sign a ball for Landon (too bad he already got sent down). We were SO close to getting Mike Napoli's autograph too!
Landon did really well, but towards the 6th inning he just couldn't stay still any longer. Dustin and I took turns walking around with him, but there is only so much to do with a toddler on the run! He held out for the fireworks at the end, but as soon as we changed him into his pj's in the car he was passed out soon after! Our little baseball boy had a great time at the ballpark!!
