For July 4th we met up with some friends at Frisco Freedom Fest. This was our first time going, and we had so much fun. Hopefully we can make this a tradition every year. It was very hot, and crowded so we decided to stop by this restaurant and have a snack and drinks. Dustin's family met us there, as well as Jenny, Matt and Brandon with her family. Dustin bought Landon a few tickets so he could do the bounce house and slide, and then we found our spot on the lawn to watch the fireworks. John bought Landon a light up sword that was a huge hit, and quite the entertainment for a toddler! Brandon and Landon got to hang out and compare light up toys, while eating sno cones waiting for the "boom booms" as Brandon calls them!

That weekend we also went over to Dustin's Aunt Joy and Uncle Rod's house where all his family was on John's side. TONS of cousins for Landon to play with, hundreds of dollars of fire works, and great food!

Dustin grew up going over there as a child, and has always loved celebrating July 4th. I know this brought back great memories for him. Hopefully we can make this a tradition again, as well.
