At 17 months Landon has seen and done so many cool things! Not only is is obsessed with animals, he is growing like a weed and talking more and more.
-Weighs 27.2 lbs
Landon can make a donkey, monkey, cow, horse and an occasional elephant sound. He loves playing with his plastic animals from tractor supply, and likes to line them up on the window seal. He is always trying to "share" his drink and food with the animals and even makes a smacking sound like they are really eating the cookie, or whatever he has at the time. Most of the time he has at least one with him while riding his 4 wheeler, or playing with his other cars. He likes to open the seat of his firetruck and put them in there, which I am glad he remembers where they are because I can't! LOL!
As soon as Landon hears Bella bark and the garage opens, he knows daddy is home!! He stops immediately what he is doing and runs to the door as fast as he can. As soon as daddy is home, Landon is following every step Dustin takes. Dustin can't even go to the bathroom without his little sidekick!
He loves footballs and baseballs! He can say "bootball" and "ball" and knows just how to carry a football tucked under his arm! Landon only has about 4 footballs (think daddy is obsessed?), and a ton of others. He also likes to kick the soccer ball, and even plays "toss" the ball with daddy. I mean, the ball doesn't go very far, but you get the picture.
"Driving" the car is Landon's passion of all times at this point! He has thrown a complete fit, falling on the floor and all because I wouldn't let him "drive" one day. I was able to reason with him and promised after a bath he could. Landon's face is priceless when he realizes he can drive. He wants you out though, points at the door to shut it. I take the keys and put on the emergency brake and watch him drive. He pushes every button possible, and closes the garage door by pushing the button. Needless to say when I get in the car and turn it on blinkers are going, windshield wipers on, radio blaring, the rear view mirror has tiny little finger prints all over it.
Landon is not much of a t.v. watcher unless it is Shrek. This is the only thing he will watch, I think Dustin and I have every word memorized. Crazy, not sure why he likes it so much. Hey, it gives me time to do unload the dishwasher during the day! He loves to be outside, and really would stay outside all day if possible. He loves to run and play, and some how finds that one pile of dirt to stick his fingers in and get filthy! BOYS!!!
He LOVES tractors, 4 wheelers, really anything that has wheels and goes fast. He climbs up on the big 4 wheelers by himself at Dustin's parents house. He loves going for rides on them, and even tries to "help" when Dustin and John are working on the cars. He is ALL boy, and I love it so much!
Landon isn't afraid of much, although he has become a little shy. It's funny because some new people don't phase him one bit, but others do. I wonder what it is about them?!
The past 17 months have been the time of my life, and I can't wait to see what the next have to bring! XOXO

He is getting so big! Isn't it SO much fun?! Just when I say, "I LOVE this age!" it seems I love the next age even more :-) He is just so precious! Love the videos, too!!
