We had a very busy month of January. There were birthday parties, play dates, and even the circus!
Embree celebrated her 3rd birthday at the cutest little place in Salado. The girls got to dress up as princesses and the boys could dress up as a prince or knight. Landon wasn't super interested, way too much "girly-ness" for him I guess.
We stayed the night with Ash and J, and even attempted to let Landon & Em have a slumber party. Well, after a few "this is your last chance, Landon" attempts, it didn't work out. But hands down the best thing ever was when Embree helped Landon out of the pack n play we had set up in her room. She quickly ran and got back in her bed before she got caught.
Maybe next time the slumber party will work out :)
Nana and Papa bought tickets for us to go to the Shriner Circus in Cedar Park. This was Landon 1st time to ever go, and really ever be around clowns. Not sure what he would think, Dustin explained to him clown's were "nice" and he didn't need to be afraid. After our first encounter with one, it got way better. We got there early so Landon could ride an elephant (not gonna lie, I was hoping I could ride one too) and see all the fun things they had! Landon got to ride an elephant, and some really cute miniature horses. He was so intrigued with all the acts, especially the elephants and motor cross riders at the end. We had a BLAST, but we had a very sleepy boy on our hands He lasted the whole time, maybe because he needed a $12 blue sno cone. Geez!
