14 months old

"Mowing" the grass at Papa and Nana's

Our little man is 14 months old and has the attitude to prove it! He is mister independent (with the occasional clingy days). Time is flying by and we are having a BLAST! He is the coolest person on the planet and we have so much fun together. It's so neat how he is starting to understand us when we tell him/ ask him to do something or bring something to us. For instance we were looking at his tractor book (his favorite book of all times, besides If you give a Moose a Muffin) and I asked him to show me the corn and he pointed to the corn--- WHAT?!?!?! How did he know that? I guess he really does pay attention when we read to him. After asking him where the eggs, tractor, barn, dog and apple were and him pointing to each I was amazed! I don't want to brag but I think we have a Mr. Smarty Pants on our hands. I can ask him to go get things and he will bring them to me, or ask if if he wants a certain item and he says "yes." Times are getting easier, now if he could only tell me if his teeth hurt, etc! He loves to look at books, but REALLy likes to look at them in your lap. He goes to get a book, walks over to you and wants up in your lap. LOVE IT! Or if your sitting down, he turns around and sits down on you. He is so loving and gives the sweetest hugs ever. An attitude has also come into the picture...not so pretty at times. Things can get ugly. He definitely knows what he wants (usually to go outside) and if he doesn't get it, most of the time you will hear about it! It's so cool because he is at the age where is has a BIG personality and you can actually communicate with him.

At 14 months Landon is...
26 pounds...loving...funny...smart...animated

LOVES green beans...strawberries...apple juice...water...teddy grams...BELLA (he now tries to pick her up and hold her)...animals...his family...being outside...going barefoot...baths...playing chase...flags

HATES...doctors, and anything to do with doctors!

We are having more fun than ever, and everyday I swear he gets bigger, smarter and stronger!
