Landon and I headed to Georgetown to see Nana and Papa on March 11. We did our usual stop by to see his girlfriend Embree (he AWLAYS wants to go see her). As always, we had such a great time hanging out and watching our sweet little angels play! I don't think I even changed one diaper while we were there! What a great friend I have :) Embree and Landon played so well together, Embree even tried to give Landon a kiss! It's so amazing how much they have changed since their very first meeting... they are growing up way too fast.
Next stop... Georgetown to see Nana and Papa! My parents have not seen him since Valentine's Day so we were so excited to see them! Of course Landon had SO many surprises including a high chair! Since Landon is 6 months old, we thought it was time to get him a "big boy" high chair and plus he can not sit still in his bumbo while he eats. So this was perfect, we got to test the waters before buying one. He did excellent and actually really enjoyed it! We put toys on his tray and he played and played while we got a few things done in the kitchen.
My dad was off on Friday, so we packed up (once you have a baby all the "stuff" you need is ridiciouls) and headed to Austin so dad could show off his little man to all his co-workers. We ate lunch, ran errands and even ended up at Babies R Us where Landon scored some more surprises! It had been a long, fun day and we were tired!
Saturday afternoon Bonnie came over with her precious little girl, Chloe. She is so sweet and so tiny! Bonnie still had never met Landon and I was so anxious to meet Chloe, so this was a visit long over due! Later that night the whole family came over for dinner which is always SO FUN....Uncle Mike, Aunt Pinky, Kellie, Kathy, Randy and Meme! The perfect ending to a great Saturday! Sunday morning we had breakfast with Rhonda, Barbara, Brandon and his girlfriend Silvia. This was the first time for them to meet Landon. It was so great to see everyone, and I was excited for them to finally get to meet my sweet baby boy. Aunt Priscilla even stopped by to see Landon! Time always goes by so quick, before I knew it Landon and I were on the road back to Aubrey. I had the worst allergies in the world accompied with a horrible headache so I was praying Landon would do great on the ride home (because of course there was an accident on I-35 with bumper to bumper traffic). It's like Landon knew I felt bad, because he didn't make a peep almost the whole ride home except for his occasional "talking." I am so lucky to have such a great little traveler!
